Systems & Certifications We design, install and maintain fire sprinkler systems for domestic, residential and Ordinary Hazard Class 1 commercial premises. We also design and install fire alarms and dry risers. Our service starts with advice at the early design stages and carries on through to installation, commissioning and then annual maintenance. As members of Warrington Fire’s FIRAS scheme, all our systems and advice are supported with independent, third party certification. We design systems to exceed basic expectations, drawing on experience as well as qualifications. We not only tell you what British Standards say, but also advise on the practical applications of these as well as what Authorities Having Jurisdiction will be looking for. Consultancy Our experience sets us apart from others, the wider knowledge to interpret standards, explain their implications, how they manifest within a building and what authorities such as Building Control, will ask for. Our consultancy service provides building professionals and developers the right information to take their project forward and ensure that once on site the installed system is fully compliant. We advise on the many practical issues that sprinklers raise, issue such as water supplies, configuration of alarms and extent of protection. Services range from an initial free meeting to assistance with more detailed calculations, specifications and budgetary advice. In addition to this, technical documents are made available for Clients to review at their own convenience. To register for this service, please click here…. Installation Once on site, your sprinkler system will be installed by experienced, directly employed tradesman and not sub-contractors. All our installers have received CPVC training and carry CSCS cards. Some also carry PASMA cards and can operate scissors lifts. Electrical work is carried out by an experienced, NICEE approved electrician with extensive experience in alarm installation. At the start of each contract, we issue detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments and will consult with the site agent to determine the most logical and efficient installation program. At key stages the system will be fully pressure tested before handover. We aim to be transparent in all we do so at the end of each month, you will receive a detailed breakdown of progress made. All design work is carried out in house so any changes required during installation can be updated without delay. We issue full third party certification as part of an extensive O&M manual, on both paper and electronic formats. All records, documents and certificates are held on line for Clients to check and review at their own convenience. Maintenance Fire sprinkler systems require annual maintenance to ensure their continued operation, the validity of any building warrants and compliance with insurers requirements. Maintenance involves an annual visit, drain down and replenishment of fresh water and visual check of all sprinkler heads and valves. In addition to this, you require 24 hour cover to respond in the case of emergencies. Aquablaze are equipped to provide such a service, even if we did not install the system.
